However, we did witness some visitors stepping on the corals, which was disheartening to see. Please, if you visit, be mindful not to touch or stand on the corals, as this can harm these delicate ecosystems. The beauty of Jemeluk Beach’s marine life is something that should be preserved for future visitors to enjoy.
Sunrise, Sunset, and Relaxation—More Than Just a Snorkeling Spot If you’re not into snorkeling or diving, Jemeluk Beach is still worth visiting for its peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. We enjoyed several mornings watching the sunrise light up the horizon, and the sunsets were equally mesmerizing. It’s a great place to relax, sunbathe, or simply enjoy the natural beauty around you.

You can also rent sunbeds to relax, and for those looking for a bit more adventure, boat rentals are available to take you to other nearby snorkeling spots, such as the Japanese Wreck and Lipah Beach. If you’re an avid snorkeler, it’s definitely worth venturing out to explore these areas as well.
Our Stay—A Perfect Beachside Getaway For 5 days and 4 nights, we stayed at a cozy beachside homestay right on Jemeluk Beach, and it was an unforgettable experience. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having the beach just steps away made it a perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The fact that we could snorkel every day without getting bored is a testament to how rich and diverse the marine life is in this area. Whether it was discovering new coral formations or spotting different types of fish, there was always something new to see in the water.
